Mercedes enjoys a strong bonding with her family, husband Alexander, who is also an active Realtor in the area, and two sons, Richard and Benaiah, ages 15 and 12. She presently serves as Overseas Missionary with International Health Care Fellowship based in South Africa, and also involved in other community services. Alexander and she actively serve as Ministry Heads and key leaders in the Word International Ministries – Silicon Valley and also District Superintendent-California Chapter of Faith Restoration Center, Inc. of New York.

Her mission statement is to approach each task with sensitivity, concern, and a strong background of experience and professional competence.
