Tammy has been teaching for over twenty years as a licensed educational therapist. She is a credentialed teacher working on her master’s degree in education.

She launched the school in 1999, and has many dedicated students.

“I love the students who come to TLC. I have many students who come back year after year,” Tammy says. “TLC is life changing; we love helping students become writers.”

TLC also fosters a sense of self-esteem.

“We work with students who may have had a negative educational experience, and build up their self-esteem,” Tammy says.

Tammy teaches at the Harker School during the school year, and loves reading and writing. She’s also a busy mom, with four children. Her oldest son, Kent, a graduate at UCLA, is also teaching at TLC.

TLC has been voted Best Educational Center in Milpitas.
