“We are still trying to give the best service, quality food, and a clean environment,” Preeti said. “It is fast and friendly service that we provide.”
Subway has introduced new “fit” items in California to promote healthier choices. The “fit” items are sides and beverages that you can purchase with your sandwich.
“We are focusing more on the California fit program,” Preeti said. “Instead of chips, you can get apples or raisins. You can also get bottled water or Diet Coke.”
“We still have salads and wraps,” she said. “We added more subs to our ‘under 6 grams of fat’ list. We can toast any sandwich.”
Throughout their entire business ownership, they have never had any regrets.
They have been trying to get more corporate deals in order to expand their business and to assist with catering. Preeti said that they would like to get corporate accounts on a contract basis to handle the catering needs of various corporations.
“We are always looking to expand the business,” Preeti said. “We are open to suggestions for improvement.”
Raj has a full-time job as an engineer and Preeti runs the stores full time. Preeti still does a lot of work running and maintaining both locations but she says they are “blessed with a great staff” to help her. “They all work so hard and are friendly, loyal and very much dedicated. I couldn’t do it without them.”
Of course, the couple’s primary goal is to hear what customers want, and make them happy.
“The No. 1 goal is customer satisfaction,” Preeti said. “Customers are always No. 1.”
