Hair is like an accessory to Dionne, whose mother owned a salon in Chicago for more than 50 years.

"It should fit into one's own personal style and character. I feel each individual has style, they just need encouragement to bring it out."

Dionne has been in the business for 23 years. For 13 years she did nails. "The last 10 I've done hair and I absolutely love it," Dionne says.

"I have a wide variety of clients that come from different backgrounds, economics and ethnicities. Your hair can be done even if you don't have any. Hair weaves, braids, fusion locks, dread locks, twists, color relaxers etc. ...There is a solution to any hair or skin need/issue."

Away from work, Dionne enjoys reading, watching movies, jogging and spending time with her family and close friends.
